What We Believe

  • In their original writing, we believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, literally as entirely inspired by God and accept them as the supreme and final authority for faith and life.
  • We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit and is indeed and man.
  • We believe that humanity was created in God’s image but sinned and ended up losing his/her physical and spiritual life because of it; that all humans inherited sinful natures resulting in actual transgression causing personal guilt. Actual transgression involving personal guilt.
  • We believe in the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • We believe that all who repent of their sin and receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.
  • In the Holy Spirit’s baptism, we believe in empowering and equipping believers for service, with the accompanying supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit; and in fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher are divinely ordained ministries.
  • According to the principle of being in power because you are under authority, membership shall be subject to submission to authority in matters about church governance, doctrine, and members’ conduct.
  • We believe in divine healing following scripture
  • We believe that both the righteous and the unrighteous will rise from the dead, that the redeemed will live forever and the unrighteous will be lost eternally.
  • We believe the true church is comprised of redeemed individuals regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, new birth and personal confession of Christ are the essentials of church membership.
  • We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ appointed two ordinances – Baptism in water and the Lord’s Supper to be observed as acts of obedience and as perpetual witnesses to the Christian faith’s cardinal facts. Baptism is a confession of identification with Christ in burial and resurrection and that the Lord’s Supper is the partaking of the emblems symbolic of the Saviour’s broken body and shed blood, in remembrance of His sacrificial death, until he comes.
  • We believe that the Bible states that without holiness, no man can see the Lord. We regard sanctification as a progressive work of grace that begins at the new birth and continues until the saint’s salvation has been completed.
