What We Believe

  • We believe that God inspires the Old and New Testament Scriptures as our ultimate authority in faith and life.
  • Our faith teaches that God exists eternally in three Persons – the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and human.
  • Humanity has sinned and has lost both physical and spiritual life as a consequence; we believe all humans have inherited sinful natures that result in actual transgressions resulting in personal guilt.
  • As Christians, we believe in the personal return of Jesus Christ.
  • Everyone who repents of their sins and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ becomes children of Father God born again by the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit’s baptism empowers and equips believers for service and fellowship with Him by empowering them to use their God-given abilities.
  • We believe in divine healing following scripture, physically, mentally and spiritually.
  • As Christians, we believe that the righteous and the unrighteous will arise from the dead and that those redeemed will live forever.
  • We believe the true church is comprised of redeemed individuals regenerated by the Holy Spirit.
  • Christ commanded us to observe two ordinances, namely, baptism in water and the Lord’s Supper, as acts of obedience and as witnesses to the core teachings of the Christian faith. The Lord’s Supper is a commemoration of He who suffered sacrificially, in remembrance of His sacrifice, through identification with Christ in burial and resurrection and partaking of the body and blood of Christ.
  • According to the Bible, no man can see God without holiness. Saints are sanctified as a progressive work of grace that begins at their new birth and continues until their salvation is complete.
