Since 1994, MyFiladelfia, as interdenominational ministry, grew and spread her wings over the whole of South Africa and even internationally. The MyFiladelfia team is passionate about the Lord Jesus Christ and believe Him to be the source of all true inner healing. MyFiladelfia is supported by people in ministry, people who want to enter into ministry, as well as many churches, schools and organisations. MyFiladelfia equips believers to operate more effectively in their ministries and personal lives.

Value System
The work of MyFiladelfia is based on the inspired Word of God. Equipping of believers, is done in dependence of His Holy Spirit. MyFiladelfia believes that Jesus Christ still heals! Trust, honesty, liability, transparency, excellence and integrity, form the core of our ministry. MyFiladelfia journeys with students on the road to discipleship, encourage with perseverance, facilitate restored relationships, promote spiritual growth and build partnerships in the ministry. A Biblical counsellor – such as those equipped by MyFiladelfia – is someone who does counselling in accordance with the opinion of the Christian world,
supported by the Bible and trusting completely in the working of the Holy Spirit.

Pastoral Counselling and Life Skills
MyFiladelfia focuses on aspects that unite the body of Christ, and we represent different denominations. Our team works closely with other disciplines to provide support where necessary. Pastoral counsellors do not diagnose or treat mental disorders. While receiving healing from His Word and through His Spirit, believers walk the road of recovery together.
Ministry
MyFiladelfia enjoys serving the community and church so that the Good News of Jesus Christ can be lived and preached. Hearts are healed by the Gospel, and your soul is the source of everything you do in life. According to John 15:5, TNIV, Jesus invites everyone into a life of deep, overflowing connection: “If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.” Aligning this spiritual reality with how we live is essential work; we are here
to help you on that journey.
Mentorship and Guidance
Relationships are formed based on empathy, all the while encouraging and supporting believers to believe in God’s
purposes. This purpose of the Kingdom is achieved by implementing the Word of God in their everyday lives and by
pastoral care, motivation, mentoring, and unconditional love.
Composition of the Ministry
MyFiladelfia offers training in an online format per level programme. These courses support the student’s ministry and prepare students for their calling and service in Christian ministry.
Upon completion of Level 3, students are eligible to register with the ASCHP (www.aschp.net), a SAQA-recognised professional body.
Acknowledgement of the course
MyFiladelfia Skills development provider is registered as a private training provider in South Africa with the Services SETA Registration number 12667. Religious Qualifications are granted by MINTS (“Miami International Seminary”), registered with the state of Florida Department of Education in Dade County, Florida, U.S.A. (www.mints.edu) MyFiladelfia skills development provider does not issue any national qualifications.
