The more you learn the more you discover what you don’t know

The more you learn the more you discover what you don’t know…..The opposite is also true, what is not learnt stays unknown. But before we get ‘too deep,’ let’s agree that all of us who are alive here and now, are always learning and this is a good thing.
Theology, not a concept to be feared, in fact, we should embrace it. Theology is simply the study of God; meaning it’s an attempt to understand God as He is revealed in the Bible. What makes theology learning different from secular learning, is that with theology you want to learn and discover as much as possible. You will not reach that point where you say ‘enough!’ This is because you are born again.
Biblically speaking, you have been made alive in Christ (Eph. 2:5). This means that at some point, you confessed faith in Jesus Christ (Rom. 10:9). This also means that even though you may (presently) have no intention of pastoring a church, you must continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ (2 Pet. 3:18).
In fact, Heb. 6:1 encourage you to ‘… become mature and start thinking about more than just the basic things we were taught about Christ.” Here is wonderful ‘thing,’ God–alone–is God and we are all on a lifelong journey of learning about Him. Therefore, none of us can ever say ‘I know everything about God.’
MyFiladelfia’s Theology courses aim to establish a solid biblical foundation to the Christian life and to help equip all believers along the road of Christian maturity, whilst at the same time empowering believers to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
